All our dear friends abroad,
I am very happy to inform you all that we very successfully completed 3 housing
projects and finished the settling of Tsunami victims in those houses. The
projects we completed are as follows:
1. Siribopura, Hambantota - 25 houses
2. Annasigalahena, Kaluthara - 35 houses
3. Monrovia Estate, Hikkaduwa - 25 houses
We wish to thank every body who joined in
this venture and made all these projects successful.
We at the same time wish to state kindly that the government of Sri Lanka,
having realized our merits in this field has now granted us enough land to
proceed with our projects. These lands are lying at Polonnaruwa-32 acres
and at Pottuvil 152 acres. In order to proceed with housing projects in
these lands we are faced with financial difficulties.
I therefore wish to appeal to all our
well-wishers abroad to help us financially in these projects we launched to
provide the Tsunami victims with permanent houses on a land of their own.
