A Course for Self- Motivation

Course: Bhavana (the practice of mind culture), a 6-week course on a Buddhist meditation technique.

Instructor: Bhante Mihintale Kamalasiri
Bhante Kamalasiri is a Buddhist monk, a spiritual/meditation teacher, and an author. He will be primarily focusing on Vipassana techniques sourced directly from the Buddhist Sutras. He believes this path will arm every sentient being against life’s different challenges. Qigong practice also included with this class.

Dates: Sundays, November 11, 18, 25 and December 2,9, and 16

Topic: Analyzing the Mind, Your World
Practice: Observing the Mind

Week 5
Topic: Benefits of Positive Thoughts
Practice: Discovering your Beneficial Thoughts

Week 6
Topic: Unknown Mental Energy, Proven Bhavana Techniques Through History for Self-Motivation.
Practice: Sitting Meditation, Walking Meditation, Chanting, and Meditation through Activities.
