For those who are new to Meditation and Retreat, this one-day program will provide the space for you to connect with yourself through practice.
Learn how to start or improve your meditation practice, including the proper meditative posture, how to overcome pain, and how to calm the busy mind.
Throughout the day, we will have a series of both sitting and light walking meditations. Through teachings, guided discussion, and self reflection, we will look at different techniques on how to keep a meditation and mindfulness practice.
We will be learning meditation and mindfulness according to the original teachings of the Buddha; however, this retreat is open to, and will be of benefit to, anyone who is interested in attending.
At the end of this retreat, participants will have more clarity and confidence about their meditation and mindfulness practice.
