Dear Triple Gem Community,

The COVID pandemic has no doubt impacted all our lives in such a life-altering way. Overcrowding has become a serious problem for the first time for many American clinics and hospitals. Thankfully, such conditions can be managed to ensure the health and life of their patients. However, the overcrowding conditions in many rural hospitals overseas have resulted in the tragic death of countless people.

I recently spoke with some doctors in Sri Lanka. To my surprise, many expressed that they don’t have the medical essentials to effectively prevent the spread the COVID 19. For example, one doctor informed me that their hospital treats about 400 COVID patients with only four ventilators. I am so happy to say that someone in our TGN community immediately donated $6000 dollars to this hospital. These funds were used for essential medical supplies for the District General Hospital in Ampara, a rural area in Sri Lanka. This hospital has been horribly hit with the lack of staff and medical supplies to help save lives in their community.

In Sri Lanka, rural hospitals do not have the medical equipment found in urban hospitals to manage COVID conditions and certainly do not have the staff to manage the ever-increasing number of patients. We want to engage others in helping these hospitals to save the lives of members in their community.

It would be wonderful if we can help as much as possible. So, I thought I would reach out to our noble community. If you like to be part of this noble act, please click on the PayPal link provided and write “COVID Relief” in the memo.  The PayPal link works for both traditional PayPal and debit/credit cards. You can also send us a check if that is easier for you. 100% of all funds will go directly to general hospitals in Sri Lanka for medical equipment and proper staff.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this letter and for your interest in saving the lives of so many people. Thank you all for supporting us and please contact us if you have any questions.
